We're recruiting Civil Engineers on behalf of a well-established consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering innovative, practical infrastructure design solutions. Due to growing project demand, their Derby-based civil engineering team is looking for a motivated engineer with 3-5 years' experience.

What You'll Be Doing: You'll work on the design and drafting of civil engineering schemes across a wide range of sectors including residential, industrial and commercial. This includes:

  • SuDS design
  • External works
  • Section 38 / Section 104 adoption works
  • Civil infrastructure for developments up to £30m in value

Many projects are delivered to BIM Level 2, using MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage, Civil 3D / PDS, and AutoCAD. You'll also support project coordination and occasionally deputise for the team lead in planning and resource management.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3-5 years' post-graduate experience in civil engineering design
  • Strong skills in AutoCAD, with demonstrable drainage & external works design
  • Experience using Civil3D or PDS and InfoDrainage or MicroDrainage
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset
  • A problem solver with a logical, analytical approach
  • Working knowledge of UK design standards and construction processes
