Head of Financial Management - Hybrid

Title: Head of Modern Workplace – Microsoft 365 / EUC (Highly Technical Leadership Role) Day Rate: £650pd – £750pd (Outside IR35) Location: Hybrid – 90% Remote with Some Travel Across England Contract Type: Contract We’re looking for a highly technical Head of Modern Workplace to lead and deliver the transformation of the digital workplace for a dynamic, fast-growing international organisation. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role where you\’ll manage a team of six and take full ownership of the end-user computing (EUC) and Microsoft 365 environment, including Intune and Autopilot . This is not a traditional management role—you don’t need to have managed teams before. Instead, we’re looking for someone who has delivered complex migrations, knows the Microsoft stack in depth, and can lead others technically while influencing key decisions across the business. Be the technical authority for Microsoft 365 , Intune , Autopilot , SharePoint , Exchange , Entra ID , and endpoint platforms Lead the design and implementation of a modern, secure, and scalable IT workplace environment Work mostly remotely—90% of the role is home-based with occasional travel to UK sites Define and deliver a global, standardised end-user hardware and software environment Architect and maintain a secure, cloud-first endpoint estate leveraging Microsoft Intune and Autopilot Lead the design and rollout of a centralised Microsoft 365 tenant and Entra ID integration Lead UK and Ireland-wide migrations to Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and SharePoint Online Standardise and automate device configuration, compliance, and lifecycle management via Intune Streamline software packaging and distribution pipelines for global consistency Work closely with support teams to ensure technical readiness, documentation, and training Promote high performance, reliability, and security across all EUC platforms Provide mentoring and hands-on guidance across projects and daily operations Technically strong with deep hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID, and endpoint platforms Experienced in delivering complex migrations and endpoint transformations in enterprise or multi-entity environments Strong architecture and design experience across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and endpoint platforms—able to define scalable, secure, and standardised modern workplace solutions. You\’ve worked in fast-paced , change-heavy environments such as M&A integration or private equity-backed settings Microsoft 365 tenant harmonisation & migrations SharePoint Online and file server migrations Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Certified: Microsoft Certified: ITIL® v4 Foundation or Intermediate Location & Travel This is a UK-based role with a hybrid working model : primarily remote (up to 90%) with occasional travel to company sites across England for strategic engagement and rollout activities.
