The Role: As a Senior Looker Developer, you will have a strong background in data analysis, SQL, and LookML and be responsible for developing and maintaining Looker models, views, and dashboards, ensuring data quality, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Looker models, views, and dashboards, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into Looker features.
• Write complex LookML code to model and manipulate data in Looker.
• Create and maintain documentation for Looker projects.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance in Looker.
• Stay up to date with Looker releases and new features.
• Provide training and support to end-users.
• Contribute to the development of data-driven solutions and products.

Your Profile:

Key skills/knowledge/experience:

• Experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)-based solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient LookML models to ensure accurate and consistent data representation.
• Implement complex logic and calculations within LookML to support advanced reporting requirements.
• Optimize LookML code for performance and scalability.
• Maintain data integrity and accuracy through rigorous testing and validation.
• Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to business users.
• Develop custom visualizations and leverage Looker's features to enhance data exploration and analysis.
• Ensure dashboards and reports are user-friendly, performant, and meet business requirements.
• Be responsible for Data Analysis and Requirements Gathering.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and LookML models.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

• Experience with data analytics and Big Data technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• GCP certifications are a plus.
