Overview:

IDEX Consulting is partnering with a leading national Financial Advisory firm seeking an experienced Financial Advisor to join their growing team. Due to ongoing acquisitions in 2025, the firm is looking for a skilled advice professional to inherit a portfolio of clients based in East Sussex.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and respond to clients’ evolving financial needs and circumstances.
  • Keep both clients and introducers informed about new financial products, legislative changes, and potential impacts on pensions, savings, investments, and overall financial plans.
  • Acquire and develop new business from both new and existing clients, as well as from professional introducers.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client and introducer relationships through regular meetings, seminars, and continuous feedback to the wider team.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of clients’ financial situations, current provisions, and future goals.
  • Analyse information, conduct research, and prepare tailored financial planning reports that address clients' specific needs across all areas of financial advice.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • The successful candidate must hold the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and be regulated via the FCA and ideally making progress towards chartered status.
  • A natural ability to build and maintain long-standing relationships with clients, coupled with an empathetic approach.
