Our Client: Our client are a leading global private capital investor, with global offices, who are looking to expand their PE Secondaries team in London at the Investment Associate level. This team have over $5bn in AUM, with significant fresh capital available to deploy and the ability to lead blue-chip deals in the market. Their senior team have a market leading track record, and the firm are able to execute a wide variety of successful secondary PE transaction structures, including GP-led deals, LP-portfolio situations, NAV financings, and other similar structures. They can invest in deals across a range of sizes, sectors, thesis and geographies, giving this role an exciting diversity of focus. Ability to take lead positions on the full range of secondary transactions, from GP-led situations and continuation funds to fund restructurings and strip-sales. Chance to be a part of the growth and sophistication of the Secondaries PE industry while working on new and ever-evolving transaction structures. Exceptionally high deal flow, benefiting from working in the fastest growing and most dynamic area of PE, with deal volume only increasing in current market conditions. Birds-eye position within the European PE landscape. Exposure to complex and quirky areas of finance. Significant fresh capital available to invest from day 1. 1-3 years of M&A or Leveraged Finance in a top tier investment bank, OR 1-3yrs of relevant private capital experience, most likely in PE, Private Credit, or a similar adjacent strategy. ~ Well-considered motivations for wanting to be part of the secondary PE investments space. ~ Strong financial modelling skills, analytical rigour and investment mindset. ~ Ability to think outside of the box and show strong commercial judgement.
