SystemsAccountants are currently working with a fast-growing international business to recruit a Finance Systems Analyst with experience in SAP S/4HANA, Public Cloud Edition. The business is now live on SAP S/4HANA and is looking to bring on a new Systems Analyst to manage the system through BAU. The role will involve working closely with the Group Finance Systems Manager to ensure the SAP ERP system runs effectively day-to-day while supporting ongoing automation and integration efforts.
Role Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud subject matter expert in the business, providing technical support and advice on how to best resolve issues with system functionality and system data.
- Deliver system maintenance, development, and configuration.
- Manage user access, authorisations, and segregation of duties (SOD) controls.
- Develop and maintain Robotic Process Automation (RPA) bots.
- Handle data integrity issues across integrated systems.
- Maintain documentation: requirements, processes, and solution designs.
- Oversee joiner/mover/leaver processes for SAP and Concur.
- Provide input for team performance metrics and reporting.
- Design, document, and implement best practice processes and controls for system maintenance, upgrades, development, and configuration.
- Partner with teams and stakeholders (Finance, HR, IT, Ops, etc.) to support process improvements and system enhancements.
Role Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a finance systems or systems accounting role.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud specifically - in a post go-live environment.
- At least 2+ years of experience in a SAP Consultant/Systems Analyst/Systems Manager role in a BAU environment.
- Familiarity with SAP access management and integrations (BTP, CPI, Identity Services).
- Experience with SAP Concur is a nice to have.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- RPA BOTS experience.
- Candidates without SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud experience need not apply - applications from other SAP backgrounds (including S/4HANA Private Cloud experience) will not be considered.
