We seek an enthusiastic individual for an entry level role into Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). The ideal candidate for this position will help identify new investment opportunities and manage stakeholder relationships.

We are looking for an Origination Associate to identify software companies in Europe and North America. The Origination Associate represents the front-end of the acquisition process: mapping and analysing the market, extending the pipeline of qualified M&A leads and getting in contact with prospects.

Activities will include both initiating contact via phone with potential targets as well as supporting target account management in order to ensure the market is sufficiently covered.

  • Use Marketing and CRM data to build and maintain existing relationships with key stakeholders / decision makers
  • Document meetings/ interactions in form of notes, interactions and administer efforts in CRM system

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

Affinity with M&A and software

Ideally this individual will have prior experience either full time or internship in private equity or advisory. Preferably this person would be German-speaking, however this is not a hard requirement.
