Business Support Assistant needed in Wrexham, £12.21ph PAYE – Reference: RQ1521476
This role involves providing comprehensive administrative and customer service support within the Department. Responsibilities include:
- Being the primary contact for internal and external queries, handling visitors, phone calls, emails, and customer needs in line with departmental standards.
- Managing data entry, retrieval, and presentation in electronic and manual systems, supporting reporting needs.
- Developing and maintaining local databases, spreadsheets, and systems, and generating routine reports.
- Providing reception services, guiding visitors and callers appropriately.
- Building and maintaining a network of contacts to support departmental services.
- Distributing relevant information efficiently to all contacts.
- Setting up and managing files and records, both electronic and manual, including archiving.
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and email correspondence, including diary management.
- Providing word processing, Excel, PowerPoint support, and preparing reports and correspondence.
- Managing office supplies and stock inventories.
- Performing financial administrative tasks such as invoice coding, ordering, petty cash handling, and processing payments.
- Organizing meetings, preparing documentation, booking travel and accommodation, and taking minutes.
- Maintaining confidential employee records and ensuring data security.
- Upholding confidentiality and compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
This is a full-time role on a temporary basis.
