Senior Quantity Surveyor (Atherton)

We work with clients, contractors and developers in a range of sectors including Energy and Power, Highways, Nuclear and Utilities to name a few, to support with a smooth delivery of projects.The roleIn this role, the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the Cost & Project Management business requirements. These projects can range from extensions for small contractors, through to large civils projects, high value buildings to specialist energy contractors and more.Other duties include:Managing costs on a wide variety of projectsOffer strategic guidance to clients, including prioritising spending, outsourcing to subcontractorsPrepare budgets and estimates and manage onsite costsUndertaking costs analysis for repair and maintenance project workPerforming risk and value management and cost controlAdvise on procurement strategyWhat are we looking for?We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a civil engineering background, and ideally has worked on a variety of infrastructure schemes.Requirements:Planning and time management skillsGood understanding of civils and construction, ideally with pipeline experienceKnowledge of NEC3 and 4Problem solver with construction knowledgeIT skills – competent Microsoft packages included Excel and ProjectAbility to work under pressure to achieve deadlines
