About the Role:

We are seeking a Thai-speaking professional with strong experience in sales and marketing, ideally at a managerial or team leader level. This role demands a combination of excellent communication skills, strong research and analytical capabilities, critical thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural setting. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives, becoming a city expert and training team members.
  • Identify and engage potential property managers and landlords in the target market, establishing partnerships with them.
  • Convert prospects and leads into bookings to meet targeted leasing objectives.
  • Plan and organize daily activities to optimize time management and achieve booking targets.
  • Manage the onboarding process for clients while maintaining an active sales pipeline.
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to develop effective strategies.
  • Foster relationships with both new and existing clients using customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Address objections and provide excellent after-sales service.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Team Lead for the South Asian Market to oversee our sales operations and team performance across the region. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the international student journey from South Asia and Southeast Asia and will lead the team in driving growth, conversions, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales consultants focused on the South Asian and Southeast Asian markets.
  • Set clear team targets and KPIs aligned with the company’s goals.
  • Monitor daily performance and ensure the team meets its conversion targets.
  • Guide students from initial inquiry to booking, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align campaigns with regional preferences, seasonal trends, and market needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with student groups, education agents, and institutions in the South Asian and Southeast Asian regions, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar (Burma), the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
  • Provide valuable market insights and feedback to help shape product offerings and strategic decisions.
  • Conduct regular training and coaching sessions to upskill the team.
  • Report performance updates and pipeline status to management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferred in Business, Marketing, or related field).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in international education, real estate, or the travel sectors.
  • Proven experience working in or with the South Asian and Southeast Asian markets is preferred for success in this role.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a team lead or managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of the student journey from South Asian and Southeast Asian countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar (Burma), the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi or other South Asian languages is a plus.
  • Proven track record in driving sales growth and leading high-performing teams.
  • A customer-first mindset with a passion for helping students.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, sales dashboards, and performance tracking tools.
