The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.

Our client is a North Sea operator and this is an onshore role on a permanent staff basis. You need to have an upstream background from the North Sea and have full rights to work in the UK. Hybrid working is available.

Reporting to the asset manager, the OSM is responsible for:

  • Optimisation of production
  • Definition and delivery of the maintenance schedules to lead a reactive, supportive and agile response team
  • Day to day operational safety and business leadership to the offshore OIM, offshore operations support hub and wider business
  • Ensuring operations are conducted in a safe and responsible manner to maximise short and long-term value
  • Delivering and executing business strategies effectively and setting expectations for the onshore hub
  • Developing and supporting efforts to increase production efficiency, water injection efficiency, equipment availability, reliability, and flagging business risk
  • Contributing to short and long-term business planning processes
  • Chairing daily co-ordination meetings, taking appropriate actions to the onshore teams and agreeing daily targets with OIM
  • Role modelling compliance with HSE and providing leadership for HSE improvement
  • Leading and developing the onshore support hub to deliver targets and strategies
  • Ensuring adequate coverage and direction of asset priorities to drive short-term responses which deliver key success criteria for the asset
  • Strong leadership capability and experience of leading teams across multiple disciplines
  • Experience and knowledge in upstream oil and gas operations and field development
  • Capable of motivating and fully utilising the capabilities of team members and collaborating with wider functions to achieve asset deliverables
  • Developing short/long-term strategic plans for the asset and co-ordinating the execution of activities
  • Continuous improvement focused, identifying opportunities to remove waste and streamline processes to deliver value
