Responsibilities:

• Review and analyse tender drawingsand project specifications to determine the scope of work.
• Prepare detailed cost estimatesfor labour, materials, equipment, and permits.
• Perform site visitsto gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
• Negotiate pricingwith suppliers and subcontractors.
• Submit quotation proposalsto clients.
• Coordinate with project managersand sales teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Inspect damaged roofsto determine repair needs and provide cost estimates.
• Maintain recordsof estimated and actual costs for future reference.
• Stay updatedon the latest materials, methods, and prices to ensure competitive estimates.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings and construction documents.
• Knowledge of various roofing systems and materials.
• Experience in cost estimation within the roofing industry.
• minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
