Our client, a well-established and fast-paced fresh produce manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Analyst to join their dedicated team. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on experience in fresh produce manufacturing, particularly those with a background in quality control or operational roles that included exposure to quality assurance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine quality control checks on incoming raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet company and customer specifications.
  • Monitor product integrity, temperature, weight, appearance, and packaging against standards.
  • Accurately record QC data and escalate any non-conformances in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with production and technical teams to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with food safety standards.
  • Support internal audits, traceability exercises, and investigations into customer complaints or product issues.
  • Assist in maintaining documentation, SOPs, and records in line with BRC and customer requirements.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness on the factory floor.

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience in the fresh produce industry is essential.
  • Experience in quality control, technical, or production roles with exposure to QC responsibilities is highly desirable.
  • Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
