A brilliant scale up in the cyber and risk world is looking for a head of information security. This is an opportunity for someone in a senior position that enjoys start up / scale up environments, wants to provide real value and be an integral part of the journey.

The responsibilities:

  • Conducting Threat analysis and Risk assessments to ensure security and business needs are met.
  • Collaborate closely with the product and engineering team to maintain technical controls.
  • Maintain security configurations applied to devices and SaaS service.
  • Champion their security culture and make sure controls are clearly communicated.
  • Develop and operate the ISMS, including maintaining ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials.

Requirements:

  • Experienced in senior leadership (“head of” or equivalent) and people management.
  • Solid compliance experience, including ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials.
  • Proven ability to enable a business to move fast, working with colleagues to define solutions that allow for both security and business objectives.
  • This individual will need to be technically hands on for the ability to liaise with both the engineering and IT teams as well as dropping down when required – a roll up your sleeves mentality.
