Nucleus Global is seeking a Scientific Director to join a global medical affairs team working with a leading pharmaceutical client. The ideal candidate will have expertise in key therapy areas such as obesity, hepatology, or related disorders, with experience in content development and review within a MedComms setting. This role offers opportunities to serve as a trusted advisor to the client, with travel for meetings and events.
Responsibilities
- Be a senior scientific member of the team, partnering with scientific and client services leads to streamline processes, mentor staff, review work, and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Develop content including training materials, congress and symposia content, and advisory board materials, with a focus on hepatology and related therapeutic areas.
- Partner closely with pharmaceutical clients to provide scientific and strategic input, ensuring accuracy and quality of medical communication projects.
- Collaborate with the Client Services Director and Editorial Lead to uphold scientific excellence.
- Lead scientific aspects of specific workstreams within major accounts and build strong, consultative relationships with client teams.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of obesity, hepatology, or related areas, especially within medical affairs.
- Contribute to proposal development, medical education, and communication tactics that are scientifically sound and of high quality.
- Support the creation of strategic documents and high-content deliverables such as advisory boards and training materials.
