Principal Network Engineer

Overview

We’re seeking a Senior Network Engineer to establish a Technical Ops-first approach to a cloud and on-premise setup. The role focuses on hosting environments, observability, high availability, and information security with infrastructure as code (IaC).

Responsibilities

• Own hosting environments with emphasis on observability, high availability, and information security integrated with IaC.
• Support and operate network and system infrastructure across switches, routers, load balancers, firewalls, compute, storage, and virtualization.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including legacy infrastructure upgrades and migration to modern infrastructure.
• Work with Palo Alto and Next-Gen Firewalls; implement and tune network security controls.
• Collaborate on mergers and acquisitions-related network setups when applicable.

Technical Expertise – must haves

• VXLAN and EVPN, NGFW
• Strong understanding of BGP; experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting
• Enterprise-level system and network design experience
• Experience in cloud and on-prem data centers (multi-vendor: AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• IPSEC, DHCP, DNS
• Ability to work remotely and flexibly
