We are looking for a permanent Storeman to join our growing team at East Midlands Airport. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, sign for, issue, inspect, process and safely handle aircraft maintenance related parts, material, equipment and tooling, including entering data into the inventory management system and processing the associated documentation.
- Ensure proper handling of aircraft parts during transactions, shipping, and receiving to avoid damage or operational delays.
- Expedite and coordinate the movement of aircraft parts.
- Effectively resolve issues as they arise and keep transactions up to date in the system.
- Enter line station inventory transactions into the inventory management system.
- Package items for shipment and coordinate with shipping agents for pick up; delivery and pick up parts from local vendors/shops as required.
- Perform all computer transactions required to maintain an accurate inventory including updating of parts/repair, etc. in our computer system.
- Perform administrative functions associated with processing aircraft parts and Company supplies.
- Ability to communicate (both verbal and written) and establish relationships with vendors/repair shops.
- Ensure proper handling of calibrated equipment and entries into database.
- Be the point of contact for our contracted customer coordinating all deliveries and despatches.

About You:
- Have the ability to work on their own initiative with a sound mature sense of judgement.
- Be highly organised and able to handle a wide variety of tasks.
- Be an effective communicator with proven computer skills.
- Literate and mathematically competent.
- Knowledge of stock control & logistics is an advantage.
- Hold a full driving licence.
- Hold a forklift licence.
- Must have the right to work and live in the UK.
