What You’ll Do

  • Deliver evidence-based occupational health advice to support managers and HR teams in managing employee health, absence, and return-to-work plans.
  • Provide expert medical assessments, case reviews, and health surveillance (including Tier 4 HAVS assessments if certified).
  • Write clear, professional reports and deliver verbal case guidance.
  • Support ill health retirement assessments and contribute to case conferences and absence reviews.
  • Play an active role in setting and maintaining OH clinical standards and strategies.
  • Represent clients externally and uphold our strong professional reputation.
  • Contribute to quality assurance processes to support our clinical governance framework.

You’ll have the option to work remotely, at our clinic, or onsite with clients—providing a balanced and flexible work environment.

About You

  • GMC-registered Occupational Health Physician
  • Hold at least a Diploma in Occupational Medicine (DipOccMed); AFOM, MFOM or FFOM qualifications are highly desirable
  • Ideally have NHS experience and qualifications to undertake health surveillance for substances like asbestos, lead, and ionising radiation
  • Tier 4 HAVS certification is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, empathetically, and professionally
  • Experienced in managing complex health cases
  • IT literate with excellent report writing skills
  • A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • A solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation and COSHH-related health surveillance requirements
