An International company at the forefront of the energy revolution with its innovative and high-tech product. Their mission is to ensure worldwide grids are low-carbon and driving a more sustainable, efficient, and resilient energy ecosystem.
You will work closely with R&D and Operational functions to support new product development by applying power systems modelling, signal processing, machine learning, and analysis techniques to ensure the full delivery of new and existing products. You will have technical project ownership whilst implementing new power system monitoring and operations technologies. You will need to interface between TSOs & DNOs, ensuring that products and services are relevant.
Essential Attributes- Hands-on experience in power system modelling & dynamic simulations (DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD, PSS/e).
- In-depth knowledge of grid challenges related to net-zero transition & renewable energy integration (e.g., low inertia, system strength issues, oscillations).
- Deep technical expertise in power system stability challenges & mitigation solutions.
- Experience in Grid, Utility, or Energy Services (scoping, delivery, or operations).
- Programming knowledge (Python, MATLAB) is advantageous.
- Knowledge of SCADA, data protocols, and secondary plant configuration.
