VANRATH is partnering with one of Northern Ireland's most recent success stories, as they seek to appoint a Talent Specialist for a fixed term contract of 12 months, based in Banbridge, on a full-time basis. The Recruitment Specialist will support the Recruitment Manager in providing multi-site support spanning UK & Ireland for a rapidly growing employee base, to include both specialist manufacturing and engineering appointments, as well as volume hiring.

The successful candidate will be responsible primarily for the sourcing of candidates ensuring adequate talent pools are developed for current and future hiring plans. You will be involved in the full recruitment lifecycle and will be expected to adopt an innovative and creative approach to the organisation's recruitment needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working in partnership with departmental managers and site HR teams, to develop knowledge of business unit requirements, both current and future.
  • Create job descriptions, source, screen and alongside departmental managers, conduct interviews.
  • Build candidate pools for the respective business unit.
  • Coordinate and attend recruitment events to promote the organisation to both graduate and experienced hires.
  • Attend and participate in recruitment strategy and development meetings.
The Person:
  • 3+ years experience in a recruitment role (Agency or In-house).
  • Proven experience of sourcing candidates within the engineering or manufacturing sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including well developed presentation and negotiation skills.
