This is a unique opportunity to join Cutover as a Staff Software Engineer on our client-facing integrations engineering team - where deep technical expertise meets enterprise problem-solving. We’re looking for someone who thrives equally in writing code and crafting complex solutions as they do in working directly with clients. You’ll architect integrations for Fortune 500 companies, mentor engineers, and shape the future of our platform, all while collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers to turn real-world challenges into reliable, scalable systems. If you’re passionate about hands-on technical leadership and delivering measurable impact, we’d love to speak with you.
What will you be doing as our Staff Integrations Engineer?
- Act as a technical leader and architect for a dedicated client-facing integrations team.
- Build world class software solutions that help our customers integrate their systems with the Cutover core product.
- Work directly with customers to understand their requirements and provide pragmatic solutions that solve their real-world problems.
- Act as a mentor to less experienced engineers; coach and assist other team members in programming best-practices, new approaches and technologies.
- Set and uphold high standards of engineering quality, security, and scalability across the integrations domain.
- Work with cloud-based technologies to build scalable, responsive, and resilient systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Delivery, Customer Success, and InfoSec teams to ensure we build the right things in the right way.
What we’d like you to bring to the table…
- You have at least 7+ years experience developing in multiple programming languages and platforms such as Ruby, Java, Python, PHP, Javascript or C# and have a solid understanding of system design and architecture.
- Proven ability to work directly with enterprise customers, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- You enjoy creating API-based ‘mash-ups’ that do useful things. You have an understanding of how products like Zapier, Mulesoft, ITTT, etc work from a technical perspective.
- You have experience using REST API as well as web standards and protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, UDP, TCP, etc.
- Experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers at various levels.
- You understand how data can be ingested, transformed, processed and shared between systems, both web-based and legacy.
- You are creative with technical solutions and enjoy articulating its benefits (and downsides) to others, including customers.
The good stuff…
- We're excited to offer Share Options as part of our compensation package.
- 25 days of PTO per year + public holidays, and we want you to take all of them!
- 3 volunteer days to use for any charitable/voluntary cause you would like.
- A top-tier private health insurance package.
- Aviva pension scheme.
- Work from home stipends.
- A personal learning and development budget through Learnerbly. You’ll be supported in your quest for knowledge, whatever that looks like to you.
- If you’re thinking of starting or growing your family, then you’ll be in great company - more than half of our team are parents and we’ve built a globally consistent parental leave approach that we’re proud of.
- Employee Referral Scheme.
- Safeguarding the mental health of our teams is paramount for us. If you’d like to, then you’ll be able to avail yourself of multiple Cutover mental health initiatives, from fully subsidized therapy sessions to subscriptions to leading wellbeing platforms.
- Target compensation package: £100,000 - £115,000 base salary + stock options + benefits. The final offer may vary from the target compensation package, taking into consideration factors such as your experience level and skill set.
