Social Media Marketing Assistant

As a Social Media Marketing Assistant you will support the marketing team in implementing the marketing strategy, with a key focus on community engagement and organic content.

Responsibilities

• Community and Influencer Engagement: Actively engage with fans and influencers across all platforms, fostering connections and building relationships. Build relationships with existing influencers and scout for new US and UK creators for potential collaborations.
• Organic Content Creation Assistance: Shoots in the office and on location with the UK Social Media Manager to create content for key focus games and occasions. Ensuring the quality of our organic content continues to improve and we consistently explore new creative possibilities.
• Shoppable Content Creation: Create short, shoppable content for our UK TikTok Shop to increase sales volume.
• YouTube Shorts and Pinterest: Continue growing these platforms with a focus on reaching a US audience and opening up a new avenue for shoppable content by reposting and remixing content from our US and Global TikTok pages.
• Asset Production Assistance: Assist the Marketing Manager with how to play video and photo lifestyle shoots at our studio, including all of the pre-production and tasks on the day.
• Marketing Team Support: Assist the US and UK marketing teams with tasks like sending games to board game cafes and other ad hoc support.
• Ensure our brand values are upheld in our online communications.
• Make a special effort to engage with creators from underrepresented backgrounds.

Requirements

Essential Experience

• Basic knowledge of how to use each social media platform.
• Basic filming and editing skills.

Desirable

• Previous experience working in a social media role.
• Awareness of TikTok shop and shoppable content.
• Proven ability to shoot and edit content.
• Strong copywriting skills, able to take on our tone of voice.
• On top of social trends and online culture.
• Comfortable appearing on camera.
