Senior Business Travel Consultant required for this global travel management company due to an upturn in business. They are looking for one experienced consultant with strong Sabre knowledge to work on some high profile accounts. Fantastic salary, up to £37,500 plus bonus, 25 days holidays, pension, health care etc. Ideally on a hybrid basis, 2 or 3 days a week in the office in the West End, but they will consider home based for an exceptional candidate.
Senior Business Travel Consultant duties:
- Booking all aspects of business travel including flights, rail, hotel, and ground transport using Sabre
- Responsible for handling the enquiry from start to finish, including searching for a range of fares (Cat35, clients route deals) and travel options and presenting these to the client.
- Exploring and researching everything from low-cost options through to round the world itineraries.
- Managing each booking, ensuring all client profile details are taken into account and any necessary visa requirements advised.
- Respond to emails and calls within the clients SLA.
- Managing travel projects which could vary from individual reservations to large groups
- Offering alternative options to the client within their travel policy
Senior Business Travel Consultant skills required:
- Business travel consultant experience is a must, 5 years plus
- Strong Sabre is a must
- Strong worldwide airfares knowledge
- Experience with ticketing, refunds etc
- Able to travel to a London office two/three days per week ideally, homebased for an exceptional candidate
Additional information: Shifts either 8.30am to 5pm or 9.30am to 6pm. Benefits including pension, health and dental care, perkbox, bonus.
