On behalf of Tesco IMS, AMS are now looking for an Enterprise Business Architect (Strategic Lead Business Analyst) for a 6 month contract based in the bank's Edinburgh office on a hybrid working model (on average 2 days in the office per week).
The Enterprise Business Architect (Strategic Lead Business Analyst) will join the Business Architecture team and will be responsible for ensuring architectural alignment between business strategy and business operations using expert knowledge and experience to direct work addressing high level and complex business scenarios.
Key responsibilities of the Enterprise Business Architect (Strategic Lead Business Analyst):
- Support operational analysis and service separation.
- Identify and address service delivery gaps for end-to-end operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and business partners to define requirements.
- Assess and evolve the existing Target Operating Model and underlying capabilities.
- Identify and address capacity and capability challenges, supporting simplification and improvement planning across business functions.
- Work alongside business analysts and data teams to ensure end-to-end service readiness.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Lead Strategic Business Analyst.
- Expertise in operating model and capability model development, business transformation and process modelling.
- Experience in service design and operational readiness.
- Familiarity with modelling tools and frameworks (e.g. Sigma).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable criteria includes:
- Background in financial services (insurance experience highly desirable).
