We are working on behalf of one of our clients to recruit for an experienced Inventory Controller.
Hours: 40 hours per week + occasional overtime
Working pattern: flexible hours - the earliest start 07:00, the latest finish 22:00, any 5 from 7 days. Required to work on Saturday and Sunday.
Usual shifts: 09:00am β 17:00pm / 10:00am β 18:00pm / 11:00am β 19:00pm (shifts alternate)
Locations: London N1C 4DQ / London W1U 1QS / London SW3 1BB (location alternates)
Familiarity with Inventory Systems: Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel), experience using inventory management software.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team, coordinating with other departments and staff.
Attention to Detail: Ability to track and manage inventory with precision.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies.
Initiative: Ability to work effectively under limited supervision.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducting regular cycle counts in stores.
- Unloading and reloading goods.
- Receiving deliveries and moving goods to their locations.
- Uploading deliveries in WMS systems.
- Registering sales in relevant reports and mirroring them in WMS systems.
- Receiving customer orders, labelling parcels and storing them in an orderly manner in the stockroom.
- Registering returned stock in relevant reports and preparing returnsβ collections.
- Finding customer orders and picking them up from locations in the stockroom, handing them to relevant store team members.
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat and well-organised.
Additional Benefit: Company pays Β£10 per day towards your travel expenses.
