They are seeking a Production Manager with strong operations experience to lead manufacturing excellence and manage several, hugely talented teams. This is a permanent role based on-site Monday to Friday offering an amazing career path for the right person.

The Role
The Production Manager will take responsibility for the manufacturing operations for a very busy and fast-paced manufacturing site including production, continuous improvement, quality, health and safety, environmental, engineering/maintenance and warehousing functions. Acting as the focal point for best practice in the facility, you will lead and coach a hugely successful and committed team of section managers to achieve the business’ goals. You will be a strategic thinker and able to communicate across all areas of an international business with a strong local heartbeat.
The Production Manager will ensure effective engagement with all areas of the business and will define and sustain production-linked KPIs alongside daily CI activities. You will be responsible for CAPEX projects and manage both the overall project content and budgets. The Production Manager will be a figurehead in the business for best practice and collaborative working. This is an enormously successful business with foundations in effective engagement and development of its team members.
The Person
The successful candidate for the role of Production Manager will possess proven leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with experience of managing multi-functional teams, leading, and influencing business success and driving a positive and inclusive health and safety culture. You will be well versed in using modern lean manufacturing tools and have demonstrable experience in delivering successful CAPEX projects in a production setting. The Production Manager will have a good understanding of engineering, quality, environmental, logistical, and human factors within a manufacturing operation. Alongside this, you will have a demonstrable record and experience in mentoring and developing successful teams.
