AV Systems Designer Autocad Residential

Overview

Audio Visual (AV) Systems Designers – Are you an audiovisual systems designer with technical, design and strong AutoCAD skills? If so, read on. You will have 3-5 years of AV design experience and will work from the initial sales brief to create final drawings for approval. You must be a personable person with excellent team working ability to create bespoke systems for clients. The client is a medium sized specialist AV systems integrator that specialises in high end residential AV projects and, due to growth, requires a new member of the team. Ideally you will have AutoCAD design skills along with a technical/design background from within the audio visual industry with knowledge of Crestron, Lutron, networking / switching, AV racks, home cinema and fibre wiring, screens / projector, IT home networking switching. Responsibilities

• Work from initial sales brief to create final drawings for client approval.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design bespoke AV systems for high-end residential projects.
• Apply technical knowledge to develop layouts, schematics, elevations, and scheme designs.

Qualifications & Skills

• 3-5 years of AV design experience.
• AutoCAD CAD systems – design and integration.
• Knowledge of Crestron, Lutron, DALI, networking/switching, AV racks, home cinema and fibre wiring, screens/projectors, IT home networking/switching.
• Good technical/design background in the audiovisual industry.
• Good communication and team-working abilities.

Location & Requirements

UK-based candidates only. MUST have AV experience. Note: This role is described as based in London/Middlesex/Essex/Herts/Hertfordshire area, with flexibility as required by the client.
