Are you a commercially astute National Account Manager with a passion for the foodservice sector? This is an exciting opportunity to join a premium food manufacturer with a strong European heritage, known for its high-quality bakery products. With operations across Europe and North America, the business is growing rapidly in the UK and has ambitious plans for further expansion. This role will be instrumental in shaping and executing the commercial strategy across London and the South East, a key growth region for the business.

Why This Role? As Senior National Account Manager, you’ll play a dual role: leading a team of Business Development Managers while also taking direct ownership of a portfolio of prestigious national end-user accounts. You’ll inspire and guide a team of 4 BDMs, supporting them to develop new business and strengthen relationships across the region. At the same time, you’ll personally manage national hotel and restaurant groups, airlines, and contract caterers such as Gordon Ramsay Group, Pizza Express, Zizzi, Dishoom, Hilton Hotels, Radisson Hotels, and British Airways. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys both leading teams and being hands-on with customer relationships, combining leadership, strategic account development, and cross functional working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take direct ownership of a portfolio of National Account end-user customers
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of 4 Business Development Managers across the South East
  • Build and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with ambitious growth targets
  • Drive new business opportunities and strengthen long-term client partnerships
  • Work closely with national clients across hospitality, hotels, airlines, and contract catering
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations to deliver tailored customer solutions
  • Represent the region at a senior level and contribute to wider commercial planning

Who You Are

  • A proven sales leader with experience in both team management and national account development
  • Background in foodservice, hospitality, or catering sectors
  • Strategic and commercially focused, with a hands-on approach to customer relationships
  • Skilled at managing and motivating high-performing sales teams
  • Experienced in working with complex, multi-site national customers
  • Confident influencing internal and external stakeholders at senior level

Salary & Benefits

£60,000 to £65,000 basic salary, 20% bonus, company car or £7,000 car allowance, healthcare, pension, and 33 days holiday.

Location

Home-based role with regular travel across the South of England and easy access to the London head office.
