Michael Page are currently recruiting for an Interim Procurement Officer to join a growing organisation based in Derby on a 12 months interim basis.

This organisation is based within the Manufacturing Sector and is looking for someone who has Procurement Administration experience to join their growing indirect Procurement team on an interim basis!

Description

As Interim Procurement Officer you will report into the Procurement Manager. Duties will include, however, not be limited to:

  • Aid buyers in researching suppliers, gathering data for supplier performance evaluations.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Negotiate contracts to achieve cost savings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast procurement needs.
  • Create vendor profiles and monitor critical suppliers for continued viability to meet company needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Prepare and analyse reports on procurement activities and cost efficiencies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and reduce expenses.

Profile

A successful Interim Procurement Officer should have:
