Our client, an ambitious and rapidly scaling activewear brand is looking for a commercially driven Head of Merchandising to lead end-to-end merchandising across apparel, footwear, and accessories.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment and wants real influence over range strategy, product performance, and trading decisions.

You’ll be responsible for building data-led, customer-focused assortments that support the brand’s mission, while driving category P&Ls, seasonal planning, and product lifecycle optimisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute the merchandising strategy across own-label and branded product.
  • Build seasonal range plans aligned to commercial targets and innovation goals.
  • Monitor category performance and make agile trade decisions to drive sell-through and margin.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, buying, digital, and marketing teams.
  • Shape product launches and support strong customer journeys across all channels.
  • Guide planning, pricing, and markdown strategy in partnership with finance.

You:

  • Strong commercial mindset with experience owning category P&Ls.
  • Proven merchandising leadership in a scaling activewear, sportswear, or performance brand.
  • Skilled in lifecycle planning, trading, and data analysis.
  • Confident in both branded buying and own-brand curation.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, hands-on environments with a collaborative approach.
