Scheme Event Lead (Home Based) We are looking for an experienced Scheme Event Lead to join a dynamic Scheme Events team, managing pensions projects focused on complex data extraction, analysis, cleansing, and processing to deliver the best outcomes for clients. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical pensions experience who can lead key client projects, cyclical activities, and scheme events, ensuring all work meets procedural and client requirements within agreed service levels. Lead the delivery of scheme events and projects for assigned clients, from planning through to completion. Review and support the work of Pensions Data Technicians, providing feedback and technical guidance. Ensure accuracy and quality across all scheme events and projects. Manage scheme event calendars and provide regular progress updates. Identify and report risks or breaches, maintaining appropriate logs. Continuously review and improve systems, controls, and processes to enhance service delivery and reduce risks. Support management with ad hoc projects, audits, and business support as required. In-depth technical knowledge of Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes. Proven project management skills. Experience with pension administration and work management systems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Advanced Excel skills (including formulas, pivot tables, macros, and data validation). Ability to run and specify data extracts, transform and upload data, and perform bulk calculations. Previous management or team leadership experience.
