Your Role:

  • Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models that meet business requirements and data management standards.
  • Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings clearly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to gather and analyse data requirements.
  • You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into logical and physical data models.
  • Create and maintain documentation for data models, data flow diagrams, and metadata.
  • Ensure data models align with organizational data governance and quality standards.
  • Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and usability in data warehouse and reporting environments.
  • Create and maintain metadata documentation, including data dictionaries and model diagrams.
  • Analyse existing data sources and systems to identify opportunities for optimization and integration.
  • Work with database administrators to implement data models in the database environment.
  • Assist in data migration and integration projects, ensuring data quality and consistency.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Must have knowledge of London Market and Pricing tool (HX, Verisk Rulebook).
  • Proven experience as a Data Modeller, or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of data modelling techniques (ERD, UML, etc.) and tools (e.g., ERwin, Oracle SQL Developer, Microsoft Visio).
  • Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., ETL processes, OLAP).
  • Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data management best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL and ability to write complex queries for data extraction and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
