SILOTANK, an established and growing manufacturer of specialist Plastic Storage Products, is currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer/Robotics Engineer due to continued growth and investment. The company offers a stable career opportunity with excellent working conditions and a friendly atmosphere within a progressive, highly regarded, and growing company.
Skills & Attributes:
- At least 5 years experience with Solidworks & AutoCAD
- Experience in CAD-CAM software such as Powermill, MasterCAM, preferably SprutCAM v14
- 3 axis or 5 axis CNC programming, operation and maintenance experience
- Experience with the set-up, programming, operation and calibration of KUKA robots with KRC2 controllers
- Experience of the set-up and programming of industrial Siemens S7-1500 PLC (TIA Portal v16) would be considered advantageous
- Perform electrical maintenance of industrial equipment
- Assist with equipment replacement, service, and repair
- Understanding of 3D printing
- Keep security and confidentiality
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
