We are seeking skilled Fitters to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be mechanically minded and be adept at using both hand and power tools. The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing electro-mechanical subassemblies and systems to ensure all work meets or exceeds performance and quality requirements.

Duties

  • Follow work orders, drawings, and verbal instructions to assemble products.
  • Use hand and power tools to fit and install parts and subassemblies.
  • Connect wires, cables, and components accurately.
  • Perform quality checks and make adjustments or repairs as needed.
  • Operate cranes or forklifts to move larger parts.
  • Keep your work area clean and organized, and help monitor stock levels.

Desired Education and Background

  • Educated to GCSE minimum level.
  • Some experience in a hands-on or mechanical role.
  • Comfortable using hand tools and able to lift up to 25kg.
  • Able to follow instructions, read diagrams or technical drawings.
  • Good basic maths and communication skills.
  • Experience with hydraulic systems is a bonus, but not required.
