Job Purpose

Due to an unprecedented period of growth, we are searching for an NPD Process Technologist to join our team at Finnebrogue. We are one of the fastest growing food manufacturers in the UK and are searching for a passionate Foodie who will thrive in our environment where our employees are developed to become the best that they can be.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Batching: accurately following new recipes, weighing out ingredients in the spice room or raw meat over the tables.
  • Mixing: assisting in pumping and packing of samples on the factory floor.
  • Labelling: making labels, detailing UB, allergens, title for products and finished goods stock control, ensuring that all products are labelled correctly.
  • Stock check of NPD ingredients, highlight when we are low, add to procurement tracker.
  • Ensure retained samples are frozen down, manage frozen stocks, highlight when retained close to depletion, disposing of products that are out of date or not progressing.
  • Assist with cost saving projects.
  • Conduct blind benchmarking as required and documenting results.

What it takes

You will thrive on working in a fast paced environment, be an excellent communicator with visible passion and enthusiasm for achieving targets, objectives, and continuous improvement in a cross-functional team environment. 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with core hours being 10am to 4pm.
