HireIQ are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a large and well-established company based outside Fivemiletown on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join a large company and organisation and gain exposure to a busy finance department and to take the next step in your career.
About the job
Reporting to the Company Accountant you will be responsible for and assisting with the following duties:
- Processing invoices, matching POs, coding and problem solving
- Bank postings
- Supplier aging maintenance and statement reconciliation
- EC sales and other ad hoc statistical returns
- Support the management accountant with month end reporting requirements
- Management of petty cash
- Maintain accurate accounting records, including preparation and posting of journals to General Ledger
- Ensure that internal procedures and controls are consistently applied.
Your skills & experience
- Experience working in a finance admin/accounts assistant position (Desirable)
- Currently studying toward IATI or equivalent (Desirable and full study support can be provided)
- Have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
