They are a leading provider of innovative, full-featured, application-specific wireless IoT communication devices. You will have an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology which offers a unique challenge in achieving optimal performance. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Hardware Engineer to join their team.

You will:

  • Design and develop equipment, processes, and systems that include, but are not limited to data networks, communications, and display.
  • Consult with research engineers or scientists and customer representatives to resolve design problems.
  • Lead the design, development, and testing of hardware for new products, focusing on digital, analog and mixed-signal circuit design.
  • Create high quality, reliable circuit designs using industry standard tools e.g. Altium.
  • Oversee the creation of PCB layouts, ensuring signal integrity, power integrity and manufacturability.
  • Conduct simulation and perform hands-on testing and troubleshooting of prototypes to validate designs.
  • Lead the effort to validate hardware designs through debugging and iteration, ensuring they meet performance, cost and quality targets.

You will have:

  • Degree in Electronics or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience in developing analogue and digital circuits.
  • Experience in Schematic Capture.
  • Experience in simulation for electronic design.
  • Ability to mentor and coach junior engineers.
  • Extensive experience with hardware design tools e.g. Altium.
