Two positions are being appointed and you have the opportunity to join an immediate team of 5 and wider team of 25 This position of Accountant is part of the large finance team that is based from South Belfast who work 2 days per week in office. The main areas of responsibility centre upon: Financial and management reporting Short-term forecasting and Business Planning Reporting on operating costs Short and medium-term cash forecasting Our client is a multi-billion turnover business operating in the energy sector. It is a highly commercial business segment, it is without doubt that the ongoing success of this business is in no small part due to the strength of the finance team. Key Criteria Recent professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA). Strong analytical skills and demonstrable experience of performing analysis of actuals against forecast. Proven ability to take responsibility and work to strict reporting and commercial deadlines. Demonstrable ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders. Experience in MS Excel. Desirable Criteria Commercial Accountancy experience. Knowledge of the Energy Industry. Experience of using SAP, Workday or other financial accounting packages.
