Hayward Hawk is working exclusively with a rapidly scaling business to recruit a proactive and analytically minded Financial Analyst to join their growing Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with 13 years of experience in finance or consulting to deepen their financial modelling skills and contribute to high-impact advisory work. You will support strategic decision-making by building financial models, performing data-driven analysis, and working closely with senior finance and business stakeholders. This is a high-exposure, growth-focused role ideal for someone looking to fast-track their career in commercial finance.

The Role

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of robust financial models to support M&A activity, business planning, growth scenarios, and strategic initiatives.
  • Support the Senior Financial Analyst in delivering insights to guide investment and M&A activity, as well as operational improvements.
  • Prepare clear and insightful analysis on business performance, including variance analysis and forecasting.
  • Participate in budgeting and reforecasting processes.
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior stakeholders.

The Person

  • Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) working towards full qualification essential.
  • 13 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, FP&A, or a consulting environment.
  • Strong Excel skills with a keen interest in financial modelling; experience building or working with models is a plus.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Experience using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems is an advantage.
