Our client, a well-known & growing business based in Guildford, is looking for a Management Accountant to join their Accountancy team.
Job Description
- Preparation of the monthly Management Accounts.
- Month-end journals including prepayments and accruals.
- Maintaining fixed asset register.
- Supporting junior members of the Finance team.
- Support the Finance Operations Manager throughout our annual audit, assisting with the supply of requested information.
- Ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making for the Management Team, and helping to drive improved business performance.
- Looking for and suggesting financial improvement opportunities for the Firm based on the Management Account preparation.
- Looking for and suggesting efficiency improvements within the Finance processes, reporting improvements, and any other opportunity to improve the role and value it brings to the team and wider Firm.
- Ad-hoc support as required on a variety of projects that are firm-wide in scope.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate will have experience with the above and be available on short notice.
