What you'll do:

  • Set up and maintain new case alerts and track progress on ongoing cases.
  • Uphold the standards of professionalism and high-quality work expected of firm employees.
  • Participate in Research team meetings via Teams video conference.
  • Stay updated on relevant research tools for the role and contribute to their evaluation.
  • Assist Analysts with research requests from clients and staff.
  • Support the Lead with special projects as needed.
  • Respond quickly to document retrieval requests, including but not limited to newly filed complaints, case law, articles, dockets, and litigation documents.

What you'll need:

  • Previous experience within a legal firm is required.
  • 2 years of legal research experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Possesses excellent information management and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience using request management systems, government websites, and research platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
