What you'll be doing:
- Lead the capability planning and portfolio management of the Digital IT enabling programmes related to the mobilisation and sustainment of capability into the FCAS Line of Business within the Air Sector. The portfolio includes, for example:
- Delivery of IM&T enabling services for the FCAS Line of Business.
- Support the Digital IT, Cyber, Data and Security provision of services into the wider Air Business through FCAS enablement.
- Assurance of Digital IT, Cyber, Data, Security delivery to deployed BAES, Partner and customer teams across FCAS eco system.
- Continues to evolve the Air Digital Strategy for FCAS - building on the high level vision for Air and including road maps for enabling digital IT technologies, FCAS programmes and the planning and management of the budget and resources required to deliver.
- Leads and supports key growth through contracts and future bid activities to support improvement in our capabilities as a key activity to lead to successful follow on contracts and acquisitions.
Your skills and experiences:
- Essential:
- Strong Project Management background with a good understanding of the both the technical and business lifecycles.
- Proficient in Strategic Planning.
- Solid understanding of IT technologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Experience delivering large-scale projects and budget planning.
- Capable of managing business roadmaps and supporting their development.
- Experience in cybersecurity and IT Standards.
- Desirable:
- Aerospace and defence experience is a plus.
- Project management background is advantageous.

The Digital Tech & Data Infrastructure Service Delivery Team:
Reporting to the DTS (Digital Technology Service delivery unit) Business Partner for FCAS, this role is part of the DTS FCAS Management team. The responsibilities include leading the Digital and Infrastructure Workstreams, coordinating and delivering IBP for both DTS and FCAS ensuring integration across all key stakeholders. Managing Governance and Assurance Reporting, Senior Business Reporting, and operational performance reporting including change impact.
We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
