Financial Analyst (London Area)

My client is an award winning Fintech who are looking to add a Financial Analyst to the team!Responsibilities:Assist in developing budgets and financial forecasts to aid in financial operations and effective resource management. Analysing financial data to identify trends, assess performance, and provide insights for decision-making.Responsible for the preparation of management accounts and other reports.Recording of financial transactions ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles. Recording and reconciliation of merchant settlement payments, safeguarding cash movements and merchant fund management Developing and overseeing financial systems and procedures and identifying opportunities to improve these. Reconciliation of financial records to underlying datasets and cash to ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting and reporting.Executing tasks as part of accounting month end close process and support with other accountancy tasks as required. Communicating with all levels within the organisation and being able to present financial information to non – finance members of staff.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in management or Financial Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldPart qualified, or in further study toward a Management or Financial Accounting qualification.Excellent analytical and numerical skills whilst maintaining a strong attention to detail. Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup, sumifs). A solid foundation of basic accountancy skills including an understanding of the generally accepted accounting principles. Analytical mindset Multicurrency accounting knowledge an advantage.Knowledge of client cash safeguarding an advantage
