Join our clients dynamic team as a SHEQ Advisor, supporting our Group SHEQ Manager across health, safety, quality, sustainability, and training. This is a varied and hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about continuous improvement and high standards across construction and manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support SHEQ administration and ensure legal compliance.
- Collaborate with QC Engineer to promote a “right first time” quality culture.
- Develop and maintain SHEQ systems and ISO accreditation requirements.
- Lead audits, inspections, and investigations across sites and suppliers.
- Deliver training, promote employee engagement, and monitor competence.
- Drive SHEQ best practice and behavioural safety culture.
- Assist with budget planning and monthly reporting.
- Support tender submissions and pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs).
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
- ISO Auditor qualifications
- CSCS Manager Card
- Strong experience with audits, incident investigations, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
- Background in construction or manufacturing
- Working toward chartered membership (e.g., IOSH, CQI)
