We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to individuals in a nursing, residential or supported living service, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with daily activities, maintaining their dignity and independence while fostering a positive environment.
Responsibilities:- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients in daily living activities including meal preparation, medication management, and mobility assistance.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs and preferences.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes to the supervising staff.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Support clients to appointments or social activities as required.
- Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety within the home or care setting.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance caregiving skills.
- Previous experience minimum of 6 months experience in a care home setting.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
