Starting in an NYU dorm room in the early 1990s, TransPerfect is recognized as the largest translation and language services company in the world, with thousands of employees located in 100+ offices around the world, surpassing $1 billion in revenue in 2021.The position of the Translation Project Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the completion of all language projects.Responsibilities:Be responsible for the entire life-cycle of all projects assigned to the individualJuggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentUnderstand and abide by individual project instructionsLiaise with sales staff to clarify project parametersEstablish and maintain excellent relationships with contract translators and proofreaders globallyNegotiate with vendorsCoordinate with quality personnel to ensure that the translation perfectly complies with instructions and is linguistically perfectCommunicate any issues/problems/caveats or additionalDistribute information to sales staff as soon as that information is availableRequired skills and experience:Excellent written and verbal English communication skillsMinimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalentExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsStrong interpersonal skillsEffective time managementStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-taskWorking knowledge of MS OfficeAbility to prioritize and schedule tasks and work in a team environment.Must be willing to learn new things, be open to challenges and thrive on successBy applying, I confirm I have read and accept TransPerfect\’s Privacy Policy: https://www.transperfect.com/about/data-privacy-recruiting
