This is a newly created role that will manage two Credit Controllers. You will have extensive credit control experience with the ability to thrive in a fast paced and constantly evolving environment. This role is a full-time, permanent role based at our office at Kings Cross, London. The role reports into the Finance Manager.ResponsibilitiesThe Credit Manager will report into the Finance Manager to oversee that all transactions are posted with any required reporting done accurately within the agreed deadlines.The main responsibilities include:Oversee the collection of a multi-currency global customer base, with a high volume of smaller customer accountsMonitor aged debt and ensure appropriate actions are taken to minimize overdue balancesWork closely with the sales and trade services teams to ensure customer accounts are maintained efficientlyLiaise with clients regarding outstanding debts and resolve disputes or queries promptlyProduce and analyse debtor reports for senior management, providing insight and recommendationsSupport the month-end process, ensuring accurate reporting of debtor balancesImplement and improve credit control policies and proceduresEvaluate credit risk and set credit limits in line with company policyManage and lead the credit control team, setting targets and monitoring performanceAssist in the year end audit process relating to receivablesThe story about you:We are looking for someone with energy and determination who wants to make a difference.
