Senior SRE focused on Openstack Networking (London Area)

Within your #OneTeamAs a Public Cloud SRE focusing on SDN (Neutron), you will play a key role in driving the evolution and reliability of our OpenStack-based networking solutions.• Ensure the performance and scalability of network infrastructure for our Clients.• Deliver core projects while collaborating with the technical teams.• Innovate and contribute to the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with security and scalability goals.Your main responsibilities :• Improve and refine both architecture and source code of existing Neutron architecture within our OpenStack infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security and optimization.• Collaborate with product owners, security and infrastructure teams to deliver aligned and robust solutions.• Promote DevOps best practices, and maintain high code quality standards. Identify automation and optimization opportunities to enhance stability and performance.• Continuously monitor emerging technologies and share advancements across the organization.Your future impactIn 6 months• Gain a clear understanding of the existing OpenStack environment and internal processes.• Get familiar with the team\’s workflows, coding standards and deployment pipelines.• Establish solid working relationships with team members and stakeholders.• Begin contributing to smaller improvements or optimizationsAnd in 1 year:• Contribute to core product roadmap features for existing components• Maintain high standards of security and compliance across the entire network perimeter.• Collaborate with the OpenStack community.• Advanced networking – knowledge about SDN technologies. and underlying protocols (TCP/IP, VLAN, VXLAN, BGP, etc).• OpenStack knowledge : understanding of architecture with a strong focus on SDN (if possible Neutron – L2/L3, DHCP, LBaaS, ML2 plugins, etc).• Open vSwitch (OVS) knowledge.• DevOps experience with CI/CD automation pipelines.• Hands-on experience managing complex IT infrastructures.• Collaborative and results-driven mindset.• English: fluent
