Shirley Oaks Hospital in Croydon is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. Circle Health Group has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to join our friendly and motivated team of staff working in the hospital Physiotherapy Hand Therapy Department. This is a bank role working on an βas and when requiredβ basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
Duties of this role include:
- Independently assess and treat patients with more complex needs across inpatient or outpatient settings.
- Develop individualised treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery, function, and independence.
- Monitor patient progress and adapt interventions accordingly, ensuring high standards of clinical care.
- Manage a designated caseload efficiently, prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.
- Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to support safe, effective, and timely patient care.
- Contribute to continuity of care by supporting patient transitions between services.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
