An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for 2 Food Safety Technical Officers to join our Environmental Health team on a permanent basis.

Position Details

Based within the Business Regulation team, you work independently to contribute to the delivery of the Environmental Health service within Glasgow.

Applicants must hold The Scottish Food Safety Officers' Registration Board (SFSORB) Higher Certificate in Food Practice OR Higher Certificate in Food Premises Inspection and Higher Certificate in Food Standards Inspection.

A flexible approach to working, IT skills and a working knowledge of the role of a Food Safety Technical Officer within a local authority setting are essential.
